Liberty XO Carbon Harness

The Liberty Carbon Harness is the innovation the windsurfing world has been waiting for. Developed in Japan and refined over several years, it brings together the best of both worlds: Delivering the freedom of a waist harness with the power transfer of a seat harness.

The best of both worlds

Traditional waist harnesses give you control and mobility, but tend to ride up and put strain on your lower back. Seat harnesses keep you locked in but restrict your movement and push the hook position too low. The Liberty Carbon Harness eliminates that compromise. Its signature carbon-reinforced base extends partially over the seat, holding the harness firmly in place — no leg straps needed.

Built for performance

The fixed, lower hook position allows for superior power distribution across your entire lower body, reducing back strain while unlocking more drive and speed. The carbon backbone provides the stiffness where you need it most, without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement.

Key features:

• Hybrid design: perfect positioning between waist and seat harness
• No leg straps — stays in place without restricting your lower body
• Carbon-reinforced back for maximum support and stability
• Fixed hook for better power distribution and increased speed
• Significantly reduced strain on the lower back
• Trusted by leading PWA and iQ foil racers worldwide

Size note: The Liberty Carbon Harness is developed in Japan so sizing runs smaller than European standards. We recommend going one size down from your usual fit.

Whether you’re pushing for podiums or simply want to spend more hours on the water without back pain — the Liberty Carbon Harness is your next level.
